Interesting fact: actors who played the main characters - Ryan Thomas Gosling and Rachel MacAdams were hating each other during the work on this film. Probably almost every woman will recognize something from herself in Bridget – thoughts about body and food, looking for the ideal man or something else. Romantic comedies about Bridget Jones will lift your mood in any case – 100% guaranteed.

Interesting facts: Renee Zellweger gained some kilos to look like Bridget Jones from the original book. For a month she worked in a publishing company and tried to imagine how her character felt during the working days and after them.

La La Land


This film became a sensation of the year 2016 and got almost all Oscars at the beginning of 2017. Audience and critics from the very beginning were so impressed by La La Land that predicted it all possible prizes and high box office. Time showed that they were right.

A lot of people wanted to watch a story of a couple, who decided to find their place and become famous in LA. And of course, the main highlight of the film is dancing and singing Rayan Gosling. Do you also want to see this?

Interesting facts: especially for this film Gosling studied playing the guitar. He had classes almost every day for 2 hours for half a year. His colleagues were impressed by his speed and desire to study something new.

The Break Up Man


Light and interesting comedy about a young and successful Paul who works for an unusual company in Berlin. He helps couples to split. If you need to say “goodbye” to the girlfriend, he will do this for you. One day he gets an order to inform a man that his wife doesn’t want to live with him anymore. If only Paul could new before, who this working day will end for him. Do you have any variants?

Interesting fact: some critics were not so happy about “The Break Up Man” before it was released. But the audience decided in another way. In 2013 this film took the 13th place among the most viewed movies in Germany.



Tomasz Limanowski and Hannah Silberstein got acquainted in the Nazi Concentration camp in 1944 in Germany. They fell in love and managed to run together. They travelled for many weeks and finally came to Poland, to the town where Tomasz lived before. But on this their problems do not end. Tomasz’s mother doesn’t want Hanna to stay and makes everything that to get rid of her. And one day her plan succeeded.

Interesting fact (caution: spoiler): the film ends when Tomasz and Hanna finally meet after many years apart. So you will have the opportunity to imagine what would happen next.

Work without the author


Probably, this film is difficult to call romantic. But it will be interesting to those who like autobiographical and historical movies. “Work without the author” actually is telling the story of one of the most outstanding German painters Gerhard Richter. In his life was everything – art, love, tragedy. It’s worth watching if you are looking for a “deep” film.

Interesting fact: “Work without the author” was nominated for Oscar as the best foreign film in 2019.
